GM Transmission Tuning Service - Factory Controller
Couldn't load pickup availability
This service is for vehicles running a factory GM transmission controller (4l60, 4l65, 4l70, 4l80, 6l80, 8l90, 10l90, etc.)
What's Included:
- Custom calibration of shift points, shift firmness, and converter lock up
- Optimization of part-throttle drivability and WOT performance
- Adjustments for gear/tire changes, stall converters, or engine modifications
How it Works: Once your vehicle is on-site or your file is provided, we review the current transmission tune and build a custom calibration tailored to your setup. This service is designed to improve drivability, reduce unnecessary wear, and maximize performance without compromising reliability.
T87a / T93 (Global A & B Platforms): If your build requires TCM unlocking for a T87A or T93 (found in Global A and Global B GM platforms), we'll handle it after your purchase.
Once you complete your order and select your tuning options. we'll contact you via email or text to discuss the next steps. Depending on your setup, this may include:
- Shipping your TCM to us for unlocking
- Coordinating a remote unlock service
- Using a pre-unlocked exchange unit (if available)
These TCMs often require unlocking before tuning can begin, and we'll walk you through exactly what's needed to move forward with your specific platform.
Disclaimer: This Service does not include TCM unlocking. If your transmission control module (TCM) requires unlocking (such as 2017+ GM vehicles with locked 8l90 or 10l90 TCMs), that is a separate service and fee. Tuning cannot be performed until the TCM is unlocked.
Disclaimer: If your TCM requires reprogramming using GM SPS2 or Tech2, there will be an additional fee. This step may be necessary before tuning can be performed, especially on replacement or used TCMs that aren't properly programmed to your vehicle.
Disclaimer: Your vehicle must arrive mechanically sound and ready for tuning. Any mechanical issues, wiring problems, or additional labor required to make the car tunable will result in additional charges. Tuning time does not include diagnostic or repair work.
